assalamualaikum My question is regarding the division of property.There are 4 sons with a daughter and mother. what should be the percentage of division of property among sons, daughter and the mother.what percentage should each son,daughter and mother get respectively? JazakAllah!!
Answer:
(Fatwa: 833/590/L=1431)
After due rights preceding inheritance, all the property of the deceased shall be distributed in 54 shares; out of the total 9 shares will go to his mother and each son will get 10 shares while the daughter will get 5 shares.
Detail:
Mother: 9
Son: 10×4=40
Daughter: 5
Total: 54
