Assalamu alaikum,Mufti sahab, Please guide in detail about “BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION” Is it Haram to invite people(friends/relative) for food/meal only with no cake cutting exercise on children birthday??? Also advise whether distributing cloths/blanket/food among yateem children (of any madarsa) is JAYAZ OR NAJAYAZ on Child birthdays???please reply at the earliest to act accordingly on my child birthday coming in next week…ALLAH HAFIZ

Celebrating birth day is unlawful. There is no need to neither invite the friends to feast nor to distribute blanket etc among orphans, rather you should keep on doing such good deeds on any day or any date of the year.
