i have a hotel and apartments for renting. can i give the room to a bank for their clients to stay ? can i rent my apartments to bank for their employees?
Answer:
(Fatwa: 444/410=B/1430)
It is allowed to give one’s hotel or apartment on rent to a bank, but since banks do interest based transactions, therefore it is undesirable (makrooh-e-tahrimi). Yes, you can give it to its employees to live in.
