I am S Yakub Ahmed I have old age parents of age about 70 years. I work as daily wage employee and get Rs 250 per day at Govt. office on working days. My problem is my parents have 1 acre (one acre) of land they wish to sell it and deposit the amount in post office or bank and they want to use the monthly interest to survive. Whether it is lawful according to Shariah or is there any other option available for them to use money.

They (parents) are not permitted to use the interest amount.
