Do the clothes being worn during state of haiz or janaabah, need to be washed with compulsion? Even if they are clean? I heard the clothes have to be washed in the above stated cases no matter what.

If the clothes worn in the state of menstruation or janabah are clean (tahir) and there is not nijasah (impurity) on them, then it is not necessary to wash them. The clothes do not become impure due to touching the impure body, until the visible impurity of menstruation or janabah appears on them.
قال فى التنوير لف ثوب نجس رطب فى ثوب طاهر يابس فظهرت رطوبته علي ثوب طاهر لكن لا يسيل لو عصر لا ينجس كما لو نشر الثوب المبلول على حبل نجس يابس.
