Is gathering of communal loud thikr in the Masaajid permissible?

If there is none offering salah, and people get involved in loud Zikr individually then it is allowed even it seemingly creates a scene of collective Zikr:
وفي حاشیة الحموي للشعراني: قد اجمع العلماء سلفاً و خلفاً علی استحباب ذکر الجماعة في المساجد وغیرھا الا ان یشوش جھرھم علی نائم او مصل او قارئ (شامي: 2/434، ط زکریا، دیوبند)
