Is it permissible for a woman to have narrow contacts with her husband during nikkah?

I have a question about nikkah,can I have narrow contacts with the husband? And what ist about betrothal, is it how nikkah or is it different?

Answer

(Fatwa: 2207/1801=B/1429)

She should have contacts with husband only after Nikah. After marriage they can have contacts as much as they like. It is not right to have narrow contacts with husband without an excuse. Also, without his permission, it is not right to leave him. If husband invites her for physical relation she should positively respond if there is no valid reason of going against it:

عن طلق بن علي قال: قال رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم: إذا الرجل دعا زوجتہ لحاجۃ فلتأتہ وإن کانت علی التنور (ترمذي 1:219)

(2) Betrothal or engagement is a promise of nikah, it is not Nikah. After engagement (before formal nikah) both the girl and boy are like strangers (they are not allowed to meet each other):

قال في شرح الطحاوي: لو قال: حل أعطیتنیھا؟ فقال: أعطیت، إن کان المجلس للوعد فوعد و إن کان للعقد فنکاح (الدر المختار 3:11)
