Bleed From the Rectal Area at the Time of Salah

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Tafseer Raheemi
Question

Asalamualaykum,

I have this problem that I regularly bleed from the rectal area after using the restroom. Sometimes, this bleeding happens at the time of salah and it will not stop. As a result, I end up making qadha of my salah. Given my situation, can I perform wudu and pray while the bleeding continues or is it better that I wait for the bleeding to stop even if that means making qadha?

JazakAllahkhair.

Answer

You are ma’zoor – You can pray even if the bleeding continues. Don’t make Salah qadha.
