Is this narration authentic?
عن جابر أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مر بعمار وأهله وهم يعذبون فقال: أبشروا آل عمار وآل ياسر فإن موعدكم الجنة
Answer:
Imam Hakim (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (radiyallahu ‘anhu). He has declared the Hadith authentic and ‘Allamah Dhahabi concurs.
(Mustadrak Hakim, vol. 3 pg. 388/389)
Translation
Sayyiduna Jabir (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) once passed by ‘Ammar (radiyallahu ‘anhu) and his family while they were being tortured and said, “Glad tidings O family of ‘Ammar and family of Yasir, for Jannah is promised for you.”
And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.

صحيح على شرط مسلم ، ولم يخرجاه.
