As salamo alaikum.
Is it correct to call a person as “Maulana” who is really not a maulana or an aalim but has got beard and looks like a maulana.Please make it clear.

Answer:

Ref. No. 895 Alif

In the name of Allah the most Gracious the most Merciful

It is not correct to call him “Maulana”.

And Allah knows best
