Can a person attend an Islamic class with males and females with no visible pardah?

Question:

Can a person attend an Islamic class with males and females with no visible pardah?

Answer:

If the seating is such that the males are seated separately from the females and there is no free mixing and intermingling then it will be permissible to attend such classes. However, the best is that a purdah system be established where the females can have their privacy.
