We have named our son Misab after the famous Sahabi Misab ibn Umair (ra), but now we came to know that its Musab and not Misab. Please tell us which one is correct Misab or Musab? We will have to change it in his birth certificate before we admit him to school this year. So please reply fast.

Since you named him after the famous Sahabi Musab Ibn Umair (may Allah be pleased with him) but you failed to understand correct pronunciation, however, when now you have known the correct pronunciation then you should keep the name as Musab. The word مصبwithout عmay not be used as name.
