Is dying from sartan (cancer) a blessing?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I have heard it from many that the one who dies from sartan (cancer) is blessed with shahadah by Almighty Allah.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Hadith speak about several kinds of martyrdom but I could not find among them the person who dies of cancer. The Arabic word for cancer is ‘Sartan’. It is very much possible that this illness did not exist during the lifetime of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) or it has some other name. However in the light of other illness which are mentioned we can hope that the person who dies in cancer can achieve the virtue of Shahadah.

Allah knows Best!
