Should a Masbooq recite Darood after Tashahhud ?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Fatwa-TT.com
Question:

Should a Masbooq recite Darood after Tashahhud behind the Imaam or should he remain silent until the Imaam makes Salaam?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The Masbooq (one who misses one or more rakaats before joining the imam) should recite Tashahhud in the last sitting behind the Imaam slowly.

He may also recite Darood and Dua after completing the Tashahhud.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
