Buying vegetarian food from a non-Muslim outlet

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I buy cooked food like pizza from a shop but they sell haraam foods there too, like pork. I only buy vegetarian cooked food, is that ok?

Bismillaah

A: You cannot trust kuffaar and others in this day and time. People have become so unscrupulous that every limit can be broken just in order to earn more wealth.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
