Blaming Allah Ta’ala for one’s problems

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I am a 22 year old female. I have lost the desire to live. I don’t like doing anything. I blame my fate for the circumstances I am in. I wanna die. I have got so many problems in my life that I hate it. My prayers are not being answered. I am losing my faith because I believe that Allah has written my fate this way. He wansts me to suffer. I am helpless. Kindly tell me what to do in these circumstances.

Bismillaah

A: To say that Allah Ta`ala wants you to suffer is an indication of ignorance and stupidity. Allah puts you into difficulty because He cares for you and loves you. Like when your child has pneumonia in an advanced degree and the child is crying for ice blocks, ice cream and he wants to play in the snow, you will strongly stop him, not because you dislike your child, but because of your strong attachment you will refuse him these types of luxuries. The child in his naivety cannot understand the wisdom of his parents.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
