Q: I want to ask about a business of boating, roller coaster rides, and this type of business? Can I provide such type of entertainment to people for a fee? Is it halal to open such a business where I provide boats for people to have fun on and games for them to play etc?
A: If this type of business entails anything haraam, like mixing of sexes, not observing the shar`ee requirements of purdah, hijaab etc. then this business should be abandoned.
