Assalamualaikum,
One our a travel agent in our city is only charging Rs 25000 for umrah. However, others are charging Rs 65000..When I enquired why the amt is so less as compare to other travel agent, he said that he uses his customers money as an invesment in property and currency and then he gets the profit which he uses to make umran for his customer..Please advice is it permissible?

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Does the agent inform his customer of investing the monies? What if the investment is not successful? Will the customer have a claim against the agent and will this lead to a dispute? [1]
