What is the status of the Hadith narrator Al Hakam ibn ‘Umar Ar Ru’ayni?

Answer

Hakam ibn ‘Amr/’Umar Ar Ru’ayni has been declared weak by Imams Yahya ibn Ma’in, Nasai, Ya’qub ibn Sufyan and Abu Hatim (rahimahumullah).

His narrations will therefore be deemed weak.
