Please verify this narration. Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Whoever eats a pious person’s food, Allah Ta’ala will purify his heart and stomach from haram for forty years and forty years of worship will be recorded for him”
Answer:
Imam Daylami (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyiduna Anas (radiyallahu ‘anhu). However, the Muhaddithun have declared this Hadith a fabrication. The Hadith is not suitable to quote.
