The virtue of listening attentively to Quran

Can you reference this Hadith?

من استمع آية من كتاب الله كانت له نورا يوم القيامة

Answer

Imam ‘Abdur Razzaq (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration as the statement of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) with an authentic chain.

(Musannaf ‘Abdur Razzaq, Hadith: 6012)

However, the nature of this Hadith is not such that could be made up using logic. It will therefore be understood that Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) heard this from Nabi sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
