Asalamualaikum.
Hazrat, what is the maximum number of rakats, that can be performed for this salah, and the ideal time to read it for maximum reward. If you can specify time instead of fiqh details i.e. how the sky must look etc – that will be better for me.

In order to perform Salatud-Duha at least 2 or at most 12 rakats should be performed. This salah can be performed from after the time of sun rise until the time for zawal starts. It is preferred that it be performed after Ishraq, when one fourth of the day has passed, up till the time of zawal.
