A fabricated narration on offering twenty rak’ahs of Salah for protection

Is there a Hadith which states, “Whoever performs twenty rak’ahs of Salah, reciting Surah Fatihah and Surah Ikhlas in every rak’ah, Allah Ta’ala will protect him, his wealth, his children and parents”

Answer

‘Allamah Suyuti (rahimahullah) has cited this narration in his book on fabricated Hadiths.

In the biography of one of the narrators of the Hadith in question, ‘Allamah Dhahabi (rahimahullah) says, ‘He has reported a fabricated narration.’ Hafiz Ibn Hajar (rahimahullah) says, ‘I think he [Dhahabi] was referring to [the Hadith in question].

The narration is not suitable to quote.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
