Q: Is it necessary for a girl who is suffering from std herpes to inform a potential spouse of her condition?

Bismillaah

A: If it is a sickness that can spread, then obviously it has the potential to affect the marital life. Since this can lead to difficulties coming about in the marital life later on, it is important for the girls party to inform the boy of the girls condition.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
