Q: I would like to know if a person fills airtime in his phone and receives some free airtime. Can this free airtime be used to enter competitions (E.g. Competitions found on food packets, etc.) via sms or phone calls?
A: If the sms or phone call is being charged more than the normal rate then it will not be permissible.
