B.E. students exempt from Jumuah for exams?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
We are the B.E. students. On every Friday we used to go to dargah to perform Jumuah salah nearby college. But now we have exam on Friday at 1:30 pm, so we are unable to perform Jumuah salah, as Jumuah salah ends at 2:00 pm. We are around 20 students. Can we perform Jumuah salah by gathering in a college campus and perform Jumuah salah by giving Arabic khutbah. Or it is necessary for us to pray Zuhr salah. Our College is situated in city.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Yes, in such a situation you may offer Jumuah salah in your college campus provided your college is located in a city or big town. The khutbah must be delivered in Arabic language. You may offer Jumuah salah if at least four people are available. If there is none to deliver khutbah and lead salah then you should offer your Zuhr salah individually. You cannot offer Zuhr salah with jamah in city or town.
