Can you wear leg nail polish during fardh salah with an infection?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I am reverted from Hindu religion to our Islam. I am offering fardh salah every day. Due to some infection I need to put nail polish to my legs. Is it good or not?

You may apply nail polish to your legs, just make it sure that no impure or haram thing is mixed in it, if you are not sure then do not offer salah while having it. Moreover, by applying nail polish it leaves layers which prevents the water to reach the nail; hence it is mandatory to remove it before making wudhu or ghusl so that the ghusl, wudhu and salah is valid.
