Is beer halal or haram?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
(1)I am writing you form Abu Dhabi. We are confused as somebody is saying that Beer is not haram and it does not contain alcohol. Also there are two types of beer available in the market halal and other. What is the correct?
(2) Abu Dhabi Mufti has given Fatwa that interest is not haram but take to other caste as a Hindu and Christian etc. But I am not satisfied, we had too much shooting with mufti. What is the correct answer?

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 825/802/N=1434)

(1) Beer is a kind of wine. However, it contains less alcohol in contrary to wine; hence those who are addicted to intoxication it puts less effect on them. However, it is wine hence it is not lawful to drink it in any case.
(2) As it is not lawful for Muslims to take interest from Muslims in the same way it is also not lawful to take it from non-Muslims, the reason is that the evidences of unlawfulness of interest are common.
