Will Esa (Alayhis Salaam) come as a new prophet?

Q: When Esa (Alayhis Salaam) comes to this world will he come as a New Prophet or Nabi?

Bismillaah

A: He will be the Nabi of Allah Ta’ala but will not come as a new prophet to this Ummah. Rather he will follow the Shariah of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam).

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
