Eating at my Christian friend’s house. (Hanbali Fiqh)

Answered as per Hanbali Fiqh by HanbaliDisciples.com
Q: My christian childhood friend is trying to befriend me again. If she invites me for food at her house. 1. can i eat from the non-pork meat even tho i dont know if its halal? We live in a multi cultural country with lots of atheists. 2. Are her utensils pure as long as i dont see impurities on them?
A: Hopefully, the rekindled friendship will yield positive results. You need to be sure that whatever meat you eat is halal/zabihah. The utensils of peoples of other faiths are permissible, so long as you do not know that they are impure, even if their meat is not permitted to eat. Allah knows best.
