Body check at airport

Question

Salaam.

There is a complete body check (pat down) or scanning at the airports

  1. Which one is permissible.
  2. If the traveler has a choice between body check or scan then which option should one opt for.in case of female and male

Answer

Mufti Shabbir Saheb says the body check is the better option because in scanning, the satr becomes visible, whereas in a body check a person the body from above the clothes so there is no harm. Male for male, female for female.
