Can I work for a collection agency that collects debts which also includes interest? The interest is not for the company I want to work but it is for the bank, credit card company etc. that hires the collection company.
Any job in which a person would be required to collect interest or deal with interest in any manner is not permissible. Thus, because by accepting this job, it will eventually become necessary for you to deal with interest, it is not permissible for you to take such a job.
