If I am trying to get some papers from the office which after many trials didn’t succeed because of which I am facing many problems and I have no other way out? The officials have asked me for a bribe, in this case what is the ruling of shariah?
In this case if someone is forcefully insisting on bribe and there is no solution to the problem then to thwart oppression and attain ones own right one can give the bribe. Perhaps, Allah ta’ala would not hold that person accountable.
