Do Brown Dots Count as Menstruation Blood?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Seekersguidance.org

Question: Assalam alaykum

On the 9th day of my menstruation I don’t see any color on my pad but every time after urine when I wipe off with tissue I see 3 or 4 brownish dots.

Should I consider myself dry when this happens because I am dry the whole day and see the dots only after urinating and the dots are so small?

Answer: Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

Use a kursuf (piece of cotton or the like placed at the labia minora) to determine whether or not your menstruation, namely, any discharge other than white, has ended. Brown counts as your menstrual blood just as red does.
