I try very hard to control my thoughts in salat and I am able to do it to a certain extent alhamdolillah. But when I do lose control, the thoughts I have are of activism and Islamic projects I am involved with. Should I give these projects up just like the sahaba used to sell their possessions if it distracted them from prayer?
