Does a drop of urine exiting the body break wudu’?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Yes, if a drop of urine exits one’s body one’s ablution is nullified. This is of course assuming that one becomes aware of it at a later date. If one never saw it or felt it, one assumes that it never came out. Certainty is not lifted by doubt; if one is certain that one performed the ritual ablution, it will not be nullified unless one is sure that it is.

Faraz Rabbani adds:

The sunna is to follow certainty, and to ignore baseless misgivings.
