Keeping a child’s name “Aydin”

Q: Please can you give me the meaning of Aydin. We found it in Surah Adhariyaat (surah 51 ayat 47). Can we name our baby boy Aydin. Also can you give us the meaning of izyaan?

1. This word means hands. It is not a name to be kept for one’s child.

2. If it is spelt in Arabic as عصيان, it means disobedience.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
