Calling someone “Rahmaan”

Q: Is it permissible to call Abdur Rahmaan as Rahmaan?

A: It is not permissible. The word ‘Rahmaan’ is an exclusive attribute of Allah Ta`ala.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
