Going for eye surgery

Q: If someone has eyes with the eyeball not in the centre but it tends to move inside so that it doesn’t look normal. Sometimes it becomes a reason for others to laugh. My question is  can that perssn take some kind of surgery for this?

A: If he is able to see well, we suggest that he does not interfere with his eyes through surgery, etc. as there is fear that this can lead to complications. He should not pay attention to the opinions of people.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
