Marrying someone who one’s parents don’t approve of

Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by

Q: Can I marry someone my mother don’t approve of because the man was previously married? Is it wrong to still marry him?

A: A marriage should secure barkat and blessings, and generally blessings and barkat is acquired when we listen to our elders, especially our parents.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
