Reciting Qur’an in bed from memory

Q: Is it permissible to read Quran whilst in bed from memory, e.g. a person forgot to read Surah mulk and remembers only in bed, can he read it lying down?

A: Yes.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

لا بأس بقراءة القرآن إذا وضع جنبه على الأرض ولكن ينبغي أن يضم رجليه عند القراءة كذا في المحيط (الفتاوى الهندية 5/ 316)
