Q: I have made intention to perform a sunnah ithikaaf in musjid ul nabawi, insha allah this year. I will not be going with anyone nor would I be going with a travel agent. I have found alternate routes and planned my flights through a travel site. My question to you, is there by any chance a jamaat or group of people that goes for ithikaaf to musjid un Nabawi? People who I could speak to in order to know what to expect at ithkaaf or the security in the musjid or what necessities to carry. Also after ithikaaf, I wish to perform umrah and thereafter return home.
