Reciting aayat of sajdah without looking in the Quraan

Q: I wanted to ask that If I recite surah al alaq in the day without reading it from the quran, do I have to do sajdah?

A: If the aayat of sajdah is recited, whether from the Qur’an or by heart, sajdah-e-tilaawat becomes waajib.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
