Do women have to perform two rakats of Jumuah at home or Zuhr Salaah

Q: On Friday, do women have to perform two rakats of Jumuah at home? Or only zohar namaz?

Bismillaah

A: Women should perform Zuhr Salaah at home. It is not compulsory for them to attend the Jumu`ah Salaah.

ولا تجب الجمعة على مسافر ولا امرأة ولا مريض ولا عبد ولا أعمى لأن المسافر يحرج في الحضور وكذا المريض والأعمى والعبد مشغول بخدمة المولى والمرأة بخدمة الزوج فعذروا دفعا للحرج والضرر فإن حضروا وصلوا مع الناس أجزأهم عن فرض الوقت لأنهم تحملوه فصاروا كالمسافر إذا صام (الهداية 1/ 169)
