Entering the masjid without wudhu

Q: Is it permissible for one to enter the masjid without wudhu?

Bismillaah

A: It is permissible for one to enter the masjid without wudhu. However it is in keeping to adab (respect) that one remains in the state of wudhu whilst in the musjid.

و لا بأس للمحدث أن يدخل المسجد فى أصح القولين (الفتاوى الهندية 5/321)
