Stain Remaining After Washing a Cloth

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: A white cloth, which was soiled with impurity, was washed after a long time. Before washing it, there was a stain in the place where the impurity was. After washing the cloth, the stains are still visible. Can one perform Salaah wearing these clothes?

A: Yes, as long as it was correctly washed i.e. the impurity had gone out entirely. It was just the stain of the impurity that was left behind. This is paak.
