Turning the pages of the Quraan with a glove

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I am a hifz student and I have a problem with my stomach where I often break wind and this effects my work. Is it fine if I use gloves to turn the pages of the Quran?

Bismillaah

A: It is not permissible to turn the pages with gloves or any cloth which you are wearing. If it is difficult for you to remain in the state of wudhu and you do not qualify to be a mazoor, then turn the pages with something which you are not wearing.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
