Exposing one’s sins to rectify oneself

Q: I would like to know if it is permissible to expose sins if you need help and advice and you are not proud of the sin you’re exposing.

Bismillaah

A: If it is only for asking for help to rectify oneself then it is permissible.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
