Q: If I say that I am a kaafir jokingly, am I out of the fold of Islam? There is no doubt about Allah and deen and is my nikaah valid or not?
A: Deen is extremely sensitive and full of significance and greatness. These types of words can take you out of the fold of Islam. If you had said this showing scant regards for Islam then obviously it will take you out of the fold of Islam.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
