Q: Is the playing of Surah Baqarah continuously in ones home permissible for protection against all things unseen etc. the Surah is kept on low, and played throughout the day ‘for protection’ but no attention is actually paid to it. If it is played in a place where people get together, eat etc. is this permissible?
A: It is permissible as long as it is not disturbing.
